Club Rules & Structure
WPC Cricket (Wolston Park Centenary Cricket Club Inc.) implemented the Modern Club Management Approach from the 2014/15 season. This included a review of how our club runs and identifying the best way to take our club into the future.
A new set of rules was established for the club and a new structure was also established with 3 levels – Management Committee (Strategic level), Support roles (Operational level) and Team roles (Service Delivery level). A user pays budget approach was adopted where all costs were apportioned and a resultant fee structure is developed.
Our Volunteer Recognition and Reward Program is a key component of the Modern Club Management Approach. The idea is simple - if you give your time to the club you receive a monetary reward. The rewards are costed like other club costs into the budget.
The transition to the Modern Club Management Approach is well underway, however will take a few seasons to be fully implemented.
