Representative Cricket - Juniors

We provide the opportunity for our junior cricketers to play representative cricket for the MSW Zone.

Early each season, the WPC Cricket Juniors are invited to nominate registered players to trial for selection in the MSW U12 to U16 representative teams. Normally there are two teams selected for each age group to play in the Queensland State Championships carnival or an interstate junior cricket carnival. These carnivals are held in the Christmas school holidays.

For players interested in being considered for nomination for selection for Zone representation (U12-16 only) this will occur along with team selection so it is essential to attend this to be considered. MSW expects that the Club will only nominate players to trial who have demonstrated above average cricketing skills and the appropriate attitude.

To best prepare for Representative Cricket we recommend taking part in the WPC Academy. Whether you're on the brink of representative selection or you want that extra edge to take your game to the next level, the WPC Academy is for you. Click here to find out more.
