Cancer Council Qld - Marquee

WPC Cricket is appreciative of a recent grant of a marquee from the Cancer Council Queensland. Pictured is the marquee in use on Presentation Day with Gregory White, WPC Curator and Life Member and Nathan Spencer from Queensland Cricket - Community and Pathways. WPC Cricket endorses and practises a sun smart approach as we train for and play the game of cricket.

Heritage Bank - Thanks

Thank you to the Heritage Bank Forest Lake which has been an ongoing supporter of our club and provided grant funding of $2618 for the trophies for Presentation Day as well as 3 fence banners that will be used to advertise the club and sign on opportunities. We were very pleased to welcome Laura and Samuel from the Bank to our Presentation event on Sunday 26 March. We appreciate your support.

Thanks - Brisbane City Council & Cr Charles Strunk 

WPC Cricket would like to thank Brisbane City Council and Charles Strunk Councillor for Forest Lake Ward for a grant of $953 from the Lord Mayor's Community Fund. This funding contributed towards the cost of the jumping castles for Presentation Day which our young club members enjoyed on the day. Thanks Cr Charles for your attendance at the event and your ongoing support for our club.
