WPC Cricket Club is excited to be working with Queensland Cricket to host the delivery of a new exciting cricket program Social Smash. The Smash Series is a fast-paced, high-energy format perfect for players of all skill levels. This version of cricket is safe, fun, and easy to pick up and no protective equipment is required. All equipment required is supplied. It’s a mixed social competition and the age groupings are: 10-14 years and 15 years to adult. It is usually run on one of the synthetic pitch ovals on a Sunday afternoon.
 

If you are a junior player and want a bit of extra cricket you might be interested. If you are an adult – a current player, parent, volunteer, supporter, community member who may want to dredge up those cricket skills from your past or have an interest in this fun, new competition you might consider giving this a go. It’s a great opportunity for families to participate in a fun activity together.
