President: Abhay Dhir and Peter Davies are co-Presidents and have 1 vote between them
Secretary: Ellen Ferris
Treasurer: Chaminda Divitotawela

Thank you to Damitha Bogahawatta, the outgoing President and Dulantha Rajapkshe, the outgoing Treasurer for their service on the Management Committee and to the club.
A Few Words from our Co-Presidents –Abhay and Peter
Peter advised that as Co-Presidents Abhay and he are excited about the opportunity of working together to further grow and develop our club, be it through supporting teams and individual players training and learning, creating a Junior to Senior pathway program, and their continued drive to improve our wonderful facilities. They would like to take the opportunity to thank our outgoing previous President Damitha, for the 4 years of dedication he gave to our Club as President. Abhay and Peter have made a commitment that moving forward WPCC is spoken about as one Club, one Name with one collaborative Vision for all members…
Abhay commented that he is very proud to become one of the Co-Presidents for a great club, WPC whose history goes back to 1909. He thanks the outgoing committee members who have done an excellent job in their tenure, and he expects to carry on what has been left, a great tradition for this club. Every member including players, parents and kids work really hard in their capacity to make sure all players get good games on the weekend. I thank all who are involved in the club to make it a great place for everyone to have fun and enjoy cricket. While on-field success is always a goal, the true victory for all of us is to enjoy the game of cricket and develop and share skills with others. On behalf of the WPC Committee, I wish everyone safe and Happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year.

Volunteer Role Updates and Reward Payments
Operational Volunteer Role Decisions: At the last Management Committee meeting decisions were made about Operational volunteers roles where we had heard from the existing occupant and/or had a new expression of interest. Some changes that will occur in the near future are:
Harsha Chada is taking up the role of Registrar
Renee Sharland is taking up the role of Merchandising Officer.
Volunteer Rewards: Invitations are being sent out to volunteers so they can advise their choice with regard to the volunteer reward applicable for their role. It will be helpful and minimise the administrative work if replies are sent promptly.
Injuries or Other Incidents
The club now has a register to record any injuries or other significant incidents. Please report these to the relevant Cricket Manager and the Secretary.
Upcoming Meetings and Events
Next General Meeting: 6:45 pm, Friday 6 February at CJ Greenfield. Please mark your calendars.
